Dr. Alexis Rigsby is a proud native of Ashland, KY. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky in 2019. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2023, where she was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Award.
Following dental school, Dr. Rigsby completed an accredited two-year pediatric dental residency at Denver Health Hospital in Denver, CO. There, she received advanced training in sedation dentistry, dental trauma management, orthodontics, and the care of children with special health care needs.
Inspired to become a dentist through her own experiences as a pediatric dental patient, Dr. Rigsby is passionate about helping children build healthy, confident smiles from an early age.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), and the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (CAPD). Dr. Rigsby holds dental licenses in both Colorado and Kentucky and looks forward to joining her local Kentucky dental chapters as she returns to practice in her home state.
Outside the office, Dr. Rigsby enjoys hiking with her dog, Gryffin, and traveling with her husband.
